Look no further! The Jackson Cottage is a family beach home that has been enjoyed and passed down for several generations. This lovely home has been completely renovated, yet has maintained its vintage charm and character. As you enter this home, you will be blown away by the owner’s choice of decor! You will fall in love with the ‘Coastal Americana’ feel, which makes you feel like you have stepped back in time. You will Imagine yourself visiting this home in the 1940’s when Panama City Beach was nothing but sugar white sand dunes and stunning turquoise water! This is one of the first beach homes ever built on Panama City Beach. The owner has taken great care to maintain the original pine wood shiplap paneled walls, yet has modernized the kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms and all living spaces in 2015. The furnishings in this home are refreshing & comfortable and perfect for a large group of family & friends. The living room has large over-sized picture windows for glorious views of the beach and the sunset! You will find that most of your time here will be spent on the large covered veranda or atop the observation deck for even more panoramic views of the beach. There is a wooden boardwalk through the sand dune for easy access to the sand and an outdoor shower for when you return from a fun day in the salty sea! The beach front here is far less crowded than other areas and guests love that they can park at their front door. No elevators or parking garages to hassle with! This home is very well equipped with all kitchen utensils, bed and bath linens, and even has a washer & dryer for your use. The master bedroom has an adjoining master bathroom with jetted tub and sleeps up to 4 in a Queen size bed plus two twin size beds. The second bedroom sleeps 2 in a Queen size bed. The third bedroom sleeps 4 in two identical sets of bunk beds. There is also a futon available. There are two additional bathrooms both with walk in shower, toilet and sink/vanity. The spacious living area has ample seating and is very cozy and comfortable. The over-sized dining table has large benches for seating and is also in the main living area. The living area has a door that leads you to your own private veranda which has a wonderful wooden swing and plenty of furniture for relaxing the day away! This beach home has not been used as a rental in the past and we are very excited to share it with guests who will appreciate its sentimental and historic value. This home is full of wonderful memories and we want each and every guest who visits here to create their own!
